Information Technology Services has implemented a spam e-mail identification program, called Barracuda. This award winning application is an integrated hardware and software solution that identifies spam e-mail, then tags it as such in the subject line, making the recipient aware of its nature. In addition to tagging spam, Barracuda provides filters out the following threats before they can reach your inbox:

• Viruses
• Spoofed E-mails
• Phishing E-mails
• Spyware Attachments
• Denial Of Service

What Can You Do To Help?

Although Barracuda is a powerful tool to combat SPAM, it needs your help to maximize its SPAM catching abilities. You can make Barracuda even better by tagging messages as SPAM either through the Barracuda Outlook interface or through Barracuda's web interface.
