Panther Mail For Faculty/Staff

Panther Email provides email capabilities to EIU Faculty and Staff. The information contained in this page is a valuable resource whether you are using PantherMail for the first time or are investigating advanced options.

Getting Started

You can get up and running with Panther mail in just three easy steps:
  1. Get A Panther E-mail Account: Panther e-mail accounts are are assigned to employees upon being hired at EIU. Your supervisor may have to request an account for you prior to your first work day. PantherMail accounts can be requested by filling out the account request form.

  2. Set Your Password: Before you can proceed further, you'll need to get your email password via PAWS.

  3. Choose An E-mail Client: The easiest way to view your Panther mail is via the secure web interface located at: http://www.eiu.edu/panthermail. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and a web browser. No configuration is necessary.

    You can also access your PantherMail using a desktop client.
